It took almost 4 years to the day to get from the castings at the top to the finished engine at the bottom.  I didn't track the hours of actual work time but I would guess several hundred.  I typically am only in the shop over the winter and then, if I have the time.  It was a great engine to learn about and build.  A video of it running is on YouTube here.
